Security Patch for MyBlog 3.0

An update for MyBlog for Joomla 1.5 has been released. This patch addresses an issue where attacker may read any arbitrary file within the server, if the php process has a full read access to those files.

Affected software: MyBlog 3.x for Joomla 1.5
Recommendation: Customers should apply the patch immediately.

To install this patch

• Download the attached file and unzip it. You will find a file, myblog.php
• Replace your /components/com_myblog/myblog.php with the new file.

It's here! JomSocial 1.5 has been officially released!

There are many new improvements/enhancements/fixes to talk about, but here are just a few of the exciting new features you'll find in JomSocial 1.5:

1. Photo and video support for groups - Group members can now upload photos and videos to be shared among fellow group members
2. Photo Tagging - Users can now tag their friends in any of their photos
3. Featured Content - Site admin can now 'feature' any user, photo or video to give it a little more exposure
