For a very simple and forum that integrates really well into a fixed width template (the site I manage)!
Had a lot of issues with the install and could not find any support or the Wiki that is indicated once you work out the install for the FAQ!
Was not an easy install and not for those who don't understand some of the file structure in joomla.

It's certainly a beautiful-looking component and perfect for sites that don't need a formal forum. But installation is an absolute nightmare.
I have installed components literally hundreds of times and this one was the most painful. It change the permissions of /mambots/system to 410. How weird is that.
So the component could not completion its own installation. I had to correct the permissions problem it created and then ftp the files for that directory.
I have never had a permissions problem with the webhost I am using, and I have many Joomla installations. This problem was caused by the component.
It took several tries at installing and uninstalling before I finally got it to work. But I'm glad I did because this is perfect for what I need. Just wish the installation was smoother!
I've been looking for a component like this to come along and it finally did.
It is great for sites that isn't big enough for, or doesn't want, a forum. Great way for people too communicate.
Although the installation for me wasn't that smooth. There was an error on line 116 on the install page.
Now works perfectly and can't wait to use it on my real site.
Exactly what I was looking for: An easy way for users to communicate with each other. No confusing categories, avatars, 3-click-away forums, etc., but a quick overview of all topics in a single mouse click.
There are still some minor bugs around, but because of the simplicity I was able to work around these bugs.
Languagepack support would be nice, though. I had to change all text manually using search and replace. Not too difficult, but you could easily miss something.

It is really great, very easy to use and it looks great.
The problem is: you can't moderate the entries, and I need that feature. So I can't use it. What a pitty.
